Human Resource Management Reflection
My understanding of human resource management (HRM) is that it is the strategic approach to the successful management of people in an organization in order to help the firm acquire a competitive edge. Employees are recruited, selected, trained, developed, compensated, and retained. HRM seeks to maximize employee performance in order to accomplish organizational goals while also assuring employees’ well-being and pleasure. I desire to learn and comprehend HRM ideas. I believe that understanding what HRM is about will provide me with a solid foundation for fundamental HRM concepts such as recruiting, selection, training, performance management, salary, and employee relations.
